A vastness of white.
Reflecting rays

Standing in the cold

Pink flushed cheeks
All covered in wool.
Surrounded by silence
Deep and resounding,
Moving inside us
Softly deafening.  
Winterland.
Colorless sand,
Trickling shards
Sparkling in your hand,
Tastes sharp
Like rusty shivers.
All beauty and frost
A heart of ice
Dancing on fire,
Embers of desire.
You looked so alone
On a blanket of ivory,
I just had to have you
For the grandeur
For the glory.
An act of chance,
An avalanche
Falling down on me.
